This session will focus on the critical role of vaccination programs in improving maternal and neonatal health outcomes. Discussions will include the latest research on the safety of vaccines during pregnancy, strategies that enhance vaccine usage, and strategies for overcoming some of the barriers like vaccine hesitancy and misinformation. At The Public Health and Midwifery World Conference (PHMWC) 2025, there will be a discussion on equity in immunization so that no one, especially marginalized or under-served populations, is left out of maternal vaccination. To discuss this, case studies on how to successfully implement various such programs globally will be shown to gain first-hand insights into the implementation of successful immunization in pregnant women.
