This session will highlight the growing role of wearable health technologies in monitoring maternal health and enhancing pregnancy care. It will discuss monitoring real-time vital signs, fetal movements, contractions, and other critical health-related parameters with the help of smart devices, biosensors, and mobile applications. The ability of these technologies to improve early detection of complications and remote monitoring in low-resource settings will be highlighted. Presented at the Public Health and Midwifery World Conference (PHMWC) 2025, this session will discuss data privacy, healthcare systems integration, and how wearables can help pregnant women and healthcare providers have actionable insights for better outcomes.
