Biography

Tigist  is a Registered Nurse with over 25 years’ clinical and leadership experience, including charge nurse of stoma department at Addis Ababa fistula hospital. She earned an MSC in Public Health Nutrition from St Paul Hospital Millennium Medical College, passed the NCLEX and holds stoma- care certification from Ireland. In her role, she counsels and trains women with obstetric fistula requiring stoma bags, exemplifying her expertise as a specialist enterostomal (Stoma) nurse. A passionate clinician and mentor, Tigist contributes to research and is an Author and co-Authored multiple papers.
