Guidelines

Presentation Location:

The International Conference on The Public Health and Midwifery World Conference (PHMWC) 2025, hosted by Precision Global Conferences, will convene at Crowne Plaza Boston-Woburn,15 Middlesex Canal Park, Woburn, MA 01801 USA. The session will commence promptly at 08:30 AM with an opening ceremony, followed by keynote presentations, speaker sessions, and poster presentations. Please make sure you arrive at the meeting room before the conference starts.

Abstract Submission Guidelines:

We encourage all participants to submit their abstracts electronically, adhering to the following eligibility guidelines.

  • All participants must submit their abstracts via email attachment before the deadline. Late submissions will not be accepted.
  • Ensure that all relevant details are included, such as the author's name, abstract title, author's email, selected scientific session, and whether the presentation will be oral or poster.
  • Please write your abstract in plain American English to allow reviewers to focus on the scientific content.
  • There is no limit on the number of abstracts you can submit.
  • Each abstract should only be submitted once. Submitting the same abstract under different author names or titles will result in disqualification.
  • Submitted abstracts should not be under consideration by any other journal or conference.
  • An internal panel of reviewers will evaluate the abstracts.

Abstract Review and Selection:

  • Abstracts must not exceed 250 words, including references.
  • The review committee and program editors may edit abstracts for brevity, readability, vocabulary, and style.
  • Each abstract will be evaluated by a multidisciplinary international panel of experts.
  • Reviewers will assess abstracts based on their areas of expertise.
  • Reviewers are expected to complete their evaluations within three days of submitting their own abstracts.
  • After the review process, the conference administration will notify authors of their abstract status.

Onsite Conference Registration Information:

  • Conference registration will begin at 08:00 AM on September 7 at the Crowne Plaza Boston-Woburn, USA. The specific conference room name will be provided in the final program.
  • At the registration desk, you will receive your conference badge, folder, abstract book, and program.
  • Onsite coordinators at the registration desk will be available to assist with any questions you may have.
  • Lunch vouchers will be provided at the registration desk. Please present your voucher to the restaurant staff when collecting your lunch.

Speaker Guidelines:

  • We kindly ask all speakers to be present for the entire session to stay informed of any unexpected changes.
  • Each speaker is allocated a 20-minute time slot. Please adhere to the time limit and finish your presentation on time.
  • Presentations must be conducted in English.
  • The presentation files should be in either PPT or PDF format. Ensure your PowerPoint slides are clear and easy to follow.
  • Participants are required to submit their presentation files on a USB flash drive or pen drive at least 15 days before the conference.
  • Please check that your presentation files are working properly before the session starts.
  • The conference room will be equipped with a laptop, projector, slide pointer, and sound system, so bringing your own laptop is not necessary.
  • Personal laptops are not allowed for presentations due to setup time. If any issues arise, please contact the organizing team.
  • Ensure your files are compatible with the conference system to avoid any technical difficulties.
  • For any concerns or issues, please reach out to the support staff.
  • Follow the instructions of the organizing committee to ensure a smooth and successful presentation. Your patience is appreciated.

Date and Time:

The specific date and time of your presentation will be published on the website approximately three months prior to the event.

Poster Guidelines:

  • Posters must be set up on the designated walls at least 1 hour before the poster session begins, according to the final program.
  • Poster Dimensions: The display space for each poster is 1 meter in width and 1 meter in height.
  • Presenters should prepare their posters in advance and bring them to the conference.
  • On-site printing services will not be available; presenters should ensure their posters are printed beforehand.
  • Please retrieve your poster by the end of the day, as any uncollected posters will be discarded.

Virtual Presentation Guidelines:

  • Virtual presentations allow participants to present remotely from home or work, eliminating the need for travel.
  • Registered participants will receive an invite to the meeting, along with a personalized user ID for webinar access, a few days before the event.
  • Please join the meeting 30 minutes prior to the scheduled start time to address any potential technical issues.
  • Each speaker is allotted 20-25 minutes for their presentation. It is recommended to plan for 17-19 minutes of speaking time to allow for an introduction and Q&A. Please adhere to the designated start and end times in the program.
  • As a presenter, ensure your presentation slides are open on your device when the meeting begins. You will need to share this document while sharing your screen.
  • If you prefer to submit a pre-recorded presentation instead of presenting live, please send the recorded files and the PowerPoint presentation at least ten days before the event.
  • Ensure your device, microphone, and camera are working properly. Test your internet connection, audio, and video before the event to avoid disruptions. A wired internet connection is recommended for better stability.
  • Verify the conference time in your local time zone and be punctual.
  • In case of technical issues, have a backup device (e.g., a second laptop or mobile phone) ready to continue your presentation without interruption.

Continuing Professional Development (CPD) is an essential process that supports professionals in maintaining and enhancing their knowledge, skills, and competencies throughout their careers. CPD is crucial for continuous growth and the advancement of practice, especially in the nursing sector.

How to Obtain Your CPD Certificate:

  • For In-person Attendees: CPD certificates will be available via a QR code provided at the event. Simply scan the code, and the certificate will be sent directly to your registered email.
  • For Virtual Attendees: CPD certificates will be emailed to you directly after the event concludes.

 

Poster and Oral Presentations at PHMWC 2025

Poster Presentation:
Presenting a poster at The Public Health and Midwifery World Conference (PHMWC) 2025 is an excellent opportunity to showcase your research visually while also interacting with the audience directly. It allows for good interactions and provides a creative opportunity to present your findings.

  • Best Poster Presentation will be awarded a certificate at the closing ceremony.

 Presentation Guidelines:

  • Presenters should stay with their posters throughout the session to engage with attendees and answer questions.
  • Engaging with judges and participants provides valuable feedback and offers fresh perspectives on your research.
  • To avoid last-minute complications, ensure your poster is prepared and conforms to the specified dimensions.
  • Bring your printed poster to the venue and use tubular packaging for safe transportation.
  •  Be sure to collect your poster after the session, as the organizers cannot guarantee its safekeeping.
  • Please do not send your poster by mail to the conference venue or headquarters.
  •  Your poster should be explicit and well-structured, follow the guidelines, and use compelling visuals to improve understanding.
  • Each poster will be assigned a unique identification number. Presenters must find their designated space at least an hour before the session.
  • Your poster must be mounted in the display area. At the end of the session, remove it immediately. The organizers do not take care of posters left over.

  • Visual Impact: Design layout, readability, and excellence.
  • Research Impact: Creativity, relevance, and scientific soundness.
  • Communication Ability: Effectiveness of oral explanation; answering questions.
  • Completeness: Completeness in the presentation and discussion of your research.

Oral Presentation:

An oral presentation at PHMWC 2025 provides an energetic platform for presenting your work to a global audience and participating in meaningful discussions.

The best oral presentation will be awarded a certificate of excellence during the closing ceremony.
Oral Presentation Rules

  • Your presentation should be clear, concise, and well-structured with a logical flow.
  • Visual aids such as PowerPoint slides should be professional and visually appealing to enhance the content.
  • Stick to the allotted time (typically 20 minutes), followed by a Q&A session.
  • Engage your audience by maintaining eye contact and delivering a clear, confident explanation.
  • Presenters should demonstrate in-depth knowledge of the topic and present evidence-based information.
  • Creativity, originality, and effective communication are key factors in the evaluation.
  • Use clear and accessible language to reach a broad and diverse audience.

Stick to the time allocated to ensure the schedule runs smoothly and respect other presenters.

Certificates for Outstanding Presentations:
